Elise's Tea Room has been one of my favorite tea rooms ever! Elise the owner is really nice and we have been coming here for a long time. My best friend and I use to come at least once a month when we lived in So cal. and now we got to come while on vacation but with our daughters for the first time ever. Yes, it was not so relaxing as we remembered since we had 3 little girls with us but it brought such joy in our hearts to be able to share an "afternoon of tea" with our girls.

At My Momma's house
I like visiting my Momma. We always do fun things and eat some delicious foods like this loaded corn on the cob that smells like feet.
Its sooooo good. We get it from the "Corn Lady" who usually roams around the neighborhood selling them out of a shopping cart for $1.25. You know she is near when you hear her horn.
Its salt and peppered and and splashed with lime juice then its smothered with mayonnaise and parmesan cheese. then its drizzled in melted butter and sprinkled with chili powder. Its HEAVENLY but oh so messy and stinky
Isn't your mouth watering now?

Peach Can vase tutorial
Very fast and easy tutorial on how to make a charming vase out of a peach fruit can.
I purchased all materials at the dollar tree.
1 can of peaches
1 bundle of fake flowers
1 package of florist foam
I was looking for something cute to place on the tables and came up with this while at the dollar tree.
open can, pour out contents (save for a yummy dessert) rinse out and dry.
then cut a piece of the foam to fit the can.
cut the flowers so they are in stems and jab them into the foam like so
You can either pick a couple of different flowers or have them all the same
TADA!!!! pretty flower arrangement and a yummy treat of peaches and cream.

Peach party!
Miss Evelyn Penelope celebrated her 2nd birthday with family and friends in California.
This party almost did not happen. My mom ended up in the ER and we thought she was going to need an emergency operation. Well, that's what the ER doctor kept telling us. Thank goodness we decided to get a second opinion. That doctor was way out of line. My mom did not need a surgery and after all the test they did on her they also claimed that her graph in her arm was not working. Everything they were advising and diagnosing was totally off. Thank God!
We cancelled the party that night at the ER and let everyone know. but the next day when we found out all was well we decided to throw it anyway. we pulled it off in just 3 hours. It was alot of work and I could have not done it without the help of my Mom and sisters.
Anyway, It still turned out really cute.
The adorable birthday girl. Dress was made by me using a pattern by SnazzieDrawers.
The Party Pack was bought off of Etsy from stockberrystudio.
It was perfect and such a good price.
The Letters for the banner were done on my cricut
The Goodie bags
The cupcakes turned out super cute. The tops are peach marshmellows
The table setting.
The girls received these bracelettes, I had the peach beads custom made on etsy by Downeast Baubles . The boys got sheriff badges.
Here's our youngest guest wearing them.
Miss Aberdeen and Brianna
My Best Friends Karina and Katie with their little ladies
Angel's little one Anthony. Isn't he precious?
and Issac.
Karina's Niece Mayleen. She's such a beautiful little girl. Very shy and sweet.
Me and my little peach
Cute little creamer that I found at the thrift store made a nice vase for a rose from my Mom's garden
Strung some doilies for some feminine charm
made some doily cones and filled them up with cheese puffs. man those things are greasy
hours before the party I had no party favors or table decor so I headed out to the dollar store and found some nice jams (which are delicious, we have been having it for breakfast)some can peaches, florist foam and fake flowers. I had the idea while at the store to make some flower arrangements and they turned out really nice and rustic. I'll post a how-to
The cake was beautiful. My Sister Erica ordered it from her work (She works at the bakery at Knott's Berry Farm)
