Thanksgiving

Joe worked on Thanksgiving so we decided instead of having Thanksgiving dinner at home, we would go to Cracker Barrel. They had a Thanksgiving menu and I always love it there. Their food is good, it feels so homey when they light their fire and they have the best country store ever.

It was also great not having to prep, cook and then clean. I hate the cleaning part. ripping meat off the turkey carcass is not pleasant.

The wait was not to bad, about 30 minutes, it gave us time to browse the store. The food was delicious and plenty. We had to bring our dessert home.

Once we got home Joe left to work and me and the kids decorated gingerbread houses.

That weekend we got our Christmas tree. Love how warm in makes the living room look
